"He can be a calm head, a wise head on the training pitch, and if they can get him fit for half an hour against Iran - bringing on a player of that experience and know-how, that would be a huge bonus for Wales.

"It all comes down to loyalty and Rob Page is being loyal to the players who got them to this situation."

Who are the key players in Wales' squad?

"Bale is the talisman and he is the one who frightens anyone he plays against, even if he's quiet for 89 minutes and 45 seconds he still manages to do something.

"The player who makes Wales purr and is dangerous throughout the whole game, however, is Aaron Ramsey. The fact he's been getting more minutes on the pitch at Nice is really encouraging.

"Anything that Wales do that's good other than a one-off moment from Bale comes through Ramsey. He's the Rolls-Royce that purrs through games.

"He creates things for the likes of Bale, Dan James, Kieffer Moore and Brennan Johnson."

'Speed - the catalyst for change'

Wales were playing in front of 7,553 fans at Wrexham's Racecourse stadium as recently as February 2008 under John Toshack.

The country's rise as a footballing nation coincided with the Cardiff City Stadium being made the permanent home venue.

Even after Nations League promotion, the Red Wall - Wales' hardcore support - were firmly against moving back to the Principality Stadium, where they played in the early part of this century and beat the likes of Italy in 2002.

Cardiff's home ground offers a better atmosphere and is viewed more as a football stadium which gives them home advantage. The FAW have listened to those supporters, and the wishes of the players, to create a united front.

"There's never been a terrible relationship with Welsh fans. In fairness to the diehard Wales supporters, they have been through some horrible experiences. Thinking of smashings by Serbia, and the team was not playing well at all around 15 years ago. Gary Speed was seen as the catalyst in the change.

"You talk about through thick and thin - well, there's been an awful lot of thin. But the fans have always gone in decent numbers. At the start, yes they didn't fill out the Cardiff City Stadium but, on away trips when the team were getting thumped, there were still 2,000 to 3,000 Wales fans going abroad following the team.

"That takes some doing - so they've been loyal. There's unconditional love and support for the team. What you're seeing now is a successful team and a successful Football Association that has seen the merits of bonding with the fan group.

"They call it the Red Wall. The Cardiff City Stadium now is always full and they could easily take 30,000 fans to Qatar. Anyone who remembers the first group game in 2016 against Slovakia, there were 30,000 Welsh fans in Bordeaux.

"There are difficulties in going to Qatar as it's expensive and there is limited accommodation. I would say there will be roughly 3,000 Wales fans travelling out from the UK on top of around 500 to 1,000 ex-pats living in the region."

Who starts against USA?

"If everyone is fit who is expected to be fit in time for the opener against USA I think Robert Page is 99.9 per cent certain on his starting XI. I think he'll go with a back three with two wing-backs - them being Neco Williams and Connor Roberts.

"I think the back three will be Chris Mepham, Ben Davies and Joe Rodon. I think Ethan Ampadu will play in defensive midfield as Joe Allen won't be able to start, which brings in Joe Morrell.

"Then, you've got your attacking options: Aaron Ramsey, Dan James, Gareth Bale, Brennan Johnson, Kieffer Moore and Harry Wilson. It will be three of those six.

"In terms of the goalkeeper, Danny Ward's form has really picked up at Leicester of late but Page has been loyal to Wayne Hennessey. If you watch back the highlights of the play-off against Ukraine, Hennessey pulled off a string of worldies that night. Rob Page doesn't forget."

With Moon Knight officially a part of the MCU, a fanmade concept poster compiles several other existing Marvel heroes into the Midnight Sons

Thanks to a new concept poster, Midnight Sons fans are one step closer to realizing what the team could look like in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel's Phase Four has made the drastic leap of introducing some of the brand's more niche characters and ideas into the fold, including heroes with supernatural connections like Moon Knight, and exploring creative formats in WandaVision and the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Some of these characters generally operate in the shadows but occasionally align with the Avengers and become embroiled in pivotal storyline events, making their existence in the MCU necessary.

With the Multiverse kicking into full gear, magic and the weirder elements of Marvel's comic material get the chance to shine. Even if characters like Blade and Morbius don't get the spotlight in a mainline Avengers picture, the expansion of Marvel's scope within its universe and the forceful entry of supernatural creatures allow those characters to save the day when Captain America and company aren't around. In the comics, Doctor Strange forms the Midnight Sons by bringing together several Marvel characters with ties to the occult to defeat Lilith, and heroes like Moon Knight, Iron Fist, and Werewolf by Night join the team later on.

Now that a few of the more well-known members of the Midnight Sons are officially part of the MCU, speculation about the team's potential on-screen alliance is swirling. Digital artist agtdesign encapsulates this desire with an exciting fan poster, showcasing some of the group's prominent members by way of their live-action counterparts. The poster includes Doctor Strange, Moon Knight, Blade, Ghost Rider, Morbius, the Punisher, and Scarlet Witch. Check out the artwork below:

While it is a cool poster, the artist takes a couple of liberties with the team's composition compared to historical comics membership. Like developer Firaxis Games' Midnight Suns, which features Wolverine, Iron Man, and other characters as honorary Midnight Sons aiding the core group, agtdesign sets Scarlet Witch and Punisher as apparent members of the team, despite never having joined. An unmade Midnight Sons limited series by Greg Smallwood did show Frank Castle's Punisher on the cover as a part of the group, but the Scarlet Witch could merely be here because of her magical abilities and ties to Strange.

Whether or not a Midnight Sons movie or series ever gets made rests solely on the shoulders of Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios, but this fan poster is a good sign that people are at least interested in the property. And while the collapse of DC's live-action Justice League Dark may have been a blow to fans of edgier superhero content, Marvel appears to want to invest in those elements by putting their weight behind titles like Moon Knight. Even the Disney+ show's star, Oscar Isaac, is interested in a Midnight Sons team-up one day. While there are plenty of characters to choose from — and still introduce into the Marvel Cinematic Universe — the Midnight Sons could be arriving sooner rather than later if the seven badass heroes in this concept poster have any bearing on the matter.

Inflation Rise Coupled With Retail Spending Decrease Sets Concerning Tone!

Continued increases in inflation and other concerns about prices potentially rising further due to the global effect of Russia's invasion of Ukraine both likely contributed to the comparatively slow rate of some measures of economic growth that took place in February.

New U.S. Commerce Department data for the month of February shows just a 0.3 percent increase in retail spending compared to the 4.9 percent uptick that was reported in January—while some Americans shifted their spending habits to mirror loosening COVID restrictions as restaurant sales rose by about 2.5 percent.

The January and February metrics of consumer spending were significant jumps from the same period in 2021 showing overall recovery from the pandemic's effect on the economy. However, recent months have seen growth slow as inflation has persisted.

The largest increase from January to February was reported in spending at gas stations with over 5 percent, revealing the early impacts that record-high gas prices have had on consumer spending.

On Tuesday, the Labor Department reported that consumer prices had risen just under 8 percent from last February to this year, which used price changes prior to February 15, so it does not yet provide a full accounting for the impact of rising gas and energy prices.

Spending decreased in February at several categories of stores including furniture (1 percent), electronics (0.6 percent), grocery (0.5 percent), and other general health (1.8 percent) stores, the new data shows.

Meanwhile, spending at car parts stores (0.8 percent), home improvement and gardening supply (0.9 percent) stores, clothes (1.1 percent), sporting goods (1.7 percent), and other "miscellaneous" stores (1.9 percent) rose.

Experts have said prices could continue to increase as hundreds of companies have pulled business out of Russia in protest of the country's invasion of Ukraine since the war began late last month.

Meanwhile, rising COVID cases in several areas across China have also reignited fears of supply chain shortages and subsequent price increases of various materials, according to The Associated Press.

The Federal Reserve is also set to begin several previously announced measures Wednesday to slow inflation while also trying not to raise borrowing costs so high that it shocks the larger economy into a recession, the AP reported.

 Jason Tartick revealed that a sex story Kaitlyn Bristowe shared on her podcast put him in a tricky position at work.

Jason Tartick revealed that fiancée Kaitlyn Bristowe's podcast, Off the Vine, is directly responsible for him leaving his job.

Jason shared in a statement obtained by E! News, "Kaitlyn made a funny confession on her podcast about the first time we hooked up, which was this fully clothed, intimate moment."

But after the spicy story made its way to Jason's boss, the 33-year-old banker found himself facing an ultimatum.

"It put me in this position where I either had to restart my entire career outside of the bank, or restart my brand within the bank," Jason explained. "My boss said, ‘No more social media, no more podcasts, no more side hustle, nothing.' And so as a result of that, I [left]." 

So what exactly did Kaitlyn, 36, reveal in her podcast confessional?

"I was on my period," she said. "This is a natural thing for women. We don't have to act like it's weird. We all get our periods. Doesn't have to be a weird thing that we all ignore... So I was like, ‘Yo, let's just dry hump.'" 

In retrospect, Jason told E! News, "To be put in an ultimatum to restart my career outside the company or inside the company with the mandatory removal of my social media and side businesses was an ultimatum I never foresaw coming."

He said that Kaitlyn "felt so terrible" and "immediately" had the podcast removed. "It was such a critical pivot in my life because I knew I physically and mentally had to make a career change," he said. "This event just accelerated my timeline to do just that. And now every day I get to make impact with others that are too looking to rebrand, reinvent and restart their professional outlook."

The risqué tale isn't the first NSFW story Kaitlyn has shared about her fiancé, who she began dating in 2018. Back in April, she took followers along as she played an April Fools' prank on Jason.

She wrote in an Instagram post, "Please join me on this emotional journey for my April fools joke on Jason. I sent him a nude last night, and then had 25-30 people text him at the same time this morning saying some form of, 'DID YOU MEAN TO POST THAT'? There's a lot of ups and downs in this video but if you ever want to see Jason mad, here's your chance. It doesn't happen often.. but when it does, it's scary. In the hysterical video, fans see both of the Bachelor Nation alums in a FaceTime call, and once the texts start rolling in Jason begins to panic. In the video he exclaims, "Oh my God, bye. Bye!!!!" and abruptly hangs up. Kaitlyn then erupts into laughter. She let Jason sweat for 10 minutes before revealing that it was a prank. 

"You are the absolute worst," Jason said. "I have texts from producers, friends from back home, every individual I've known from all different areas telling me there's something f--ked up."

“Britney Spears” Shares Insights, On Her Relationship With Sons Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline

Britney Spears, who shares two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, took to Instagram to share what it's like seeing her kids grow up —and where their relationship stands today.

Britney Spears must confess: Watching her kids grow up so fast isn't always easy.

The 40-year-old singer opened up about her sons Sean Preston Federline, 16, and Jayden James Federline, 15, in an Instagram post on Sunday, March 13. Alongside the message, Britney shared a series of photos of herself wearing a heart-print dress and holding the Australian Shepherd, Sawyer, that she got last month.  

"My baby is getting bigger," she wrote about the pup. "I will just say it just like when my boys got bigger … IT LITERALLY SUCKS. They don't need me anymore … I've cried oceans for my boys and I'm not lying!!!!"

While Britney expressed her hope to one day show recent photos of her and her boys, she noted that she respects their wishes to live a private life. 

"Oh well … but Sawyer … yes, he's bigger," she continued, "but he will always need me and I like that."

Britney, who shares Sean Preston and Jayden James with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, has mentioned her sons' desire to remain out of the spotlight before, noting in a September Instagram post that "I have to ask their permission to post them because they are extremely independent little men." And while the Grammy winner, who is now engaged to Sam Asghari, has continued to honor this request and protect her sons' privacy, like any proud mom, she can't help but gush about her kids from time to time. 

"There's a lot I can't share with you all because my kids are very private which I love but I will tell you they are both extremely talented and I'm so incredibly blessed to have these two little men in my life!!!" Britney wrote later in the post. "And if they're reading this … which I'm pretty sure they're not … I love you two little devils so much."

Still, Sean Preston and Jayden James have made a few social media cameos over the years. 

"I haven't posted pictures of them for some time cause they're at the age where they want to express their own identities and I totally get it .... But I went out of my way to make this cool edit and guess what .... They're finally letting me post it !!!" Britney wrote alongside a few photos of her and her sons last March. "Now I don't feel left out anymore and I'm gonna go celebrate .... Oh s--t I guess cool moms don't do that ... Ok I'll just read a book instead!!!!"

Earlier in that post, Britney, whose 13-year conservatorship was terminated in November, expressed how she couldn't believe how much her sons have grown.

E! News can confirm the house sold for $3 million and closed on March 9. 

The next owner will enjoy a remodeled 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom house located within walking distance of Las Flores Beach. Plus, with no homes on either side and a fully landscaped backyard, the owner will be able to entertain—and tan—with plenty of privacy.

Some fans may recognize the property from MTV's The Hills: New Beginnings. During the show, cameras would roll at Brandon's house as the cast member navigated his career and love life. 

While the reality show has been put on pause, Brandon remains focused on his Swingers Club fashion capsule collection while Dylan works on his modeling and acting career.

Cooper Mount of The Agency had the home listing. "Grateful to have been able to represent the Seller's on this beautiful and turnkey Malibu retreat," the agent wrote on Instagram. "Excited for the wonderful Buyers who will be able to appreciate and enjoy this beach chic Malibu home."

Shane Olivea, a former lineman for the San Diego Chargers, passed away March 2 at the age of 40. The Chargers confirmed the death on March 3. The cause of death is not yet known.

The team remembered the offensive tackle's contributions to their 2006 season in a statement, saying, "In 2006, Olivea was an integral piece of an offensive line that helped Hall of Fame running back LaDainian Tomlinson break the NFL's single-season touchdown record."

The Chargers drafted the Ohio State player in 2004 and he stuck with the team until 2008. He was discharged due to a painkiller addiction, according to AP News. After rehab, Olivea joined the New York Giants, but a back injury cut his time with the team short.

In 2016, after eight years in recovery, he told The Columbus Dispatch that he hoped to be a college coach and help other players from developing a substance abuse disorders. Olivea returned to Ohio State—the same school he played for from 2000 to 2003—to make his dream a reality. He completed his degree in sport industry at the age of 35.

"Miley and Maxx had a great time together and walked around the resort holding hands and kissing," the source said. "They cuddled up to one another wherever they went. They had lunch at the poolside restaurant and sat on the same side of the table whispering to each other and laughing."

Miley, 29, and Maxx, 23, also enjoyed a private dinner on the beach, the insider continued, adding that "they seemed very happy being together and relaxing on vacation."

Miley and Maxx first sparked romance rumors in November, when they were spotted looking cozy at Gucci's Love Parade runway show on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In December, he joined her and Pete Davidson backstage as they rehearsed for NBC's Miley's New Year's Eve Party in Miami.

The USFL began its inaugural two-day draft Tuesday night in a way that most fantasy football players would understand, and that's a snake draft with two minutes to select a pick. But the new professional football league added a couple of twists to its draft.

One of them is a method of rotating the teams every other round so that it ensures every team gets the first pick in a round. The other is designating which position each team can draft per round.

The eight teams had to select a quarterback in the first round, and the Michigan Panthers selected Shea Patterson, who played for the University of Michigan Wolverines for his college career. Here are the quarterbacks drafted by each USFL team Tuesday night in Birmingham, Alabama.

Earlier this month, the Los Angeles Rams quarterback made headlines at the 2022 Super Bowl victory parade after NFL photographer Kelly Smiley fell off a platform while setting up a shot of the NFL player and his wife Kelly Stafford.

After some questioned Matthew's reaction to the moment, the 34-year-old expressed regret during the Feb. 22 episode of The Morning After With Kelly Stafford podcast. As he explained, the incident "happened really quickly and suddenly and unexpectedly."

"I wish I had a better reaction in the moment. I didn't," he said. "I apologize to her for that. All in all, I'm glad she's doing alright. One of those things that [you] try and train your actions to be a little bit better next time."

Matthew's wife also recounted the "awful" moment and shared her initial reaction to the unexpected and unplanned moment.  

"Matthew looked at me and said, ‘Check her please,' and turned around," Kelly recalled. "I went straight to her. I could see that she was OK, kind of stayed there, went and got some help."

According to Kelly, they followed up with the photographer the moment they got into the car after the parade. They also sent her flowers and personally checked in for updates.

"The next day, we wake up, [she's] not OK. So Matthew actually texted her himself," Kelly said. "And that's kind of where the story ended a bit. But I do know that the reaction that the world saw in that split second, I do know that's not what you wish would have been your reaction."

The NFL photographer previous said on Twitter that she suffered injuries to her spine and also broke her two cameras. The Staffords and Rams have since offered to help cover costs.

"We have been in communication with Kelly Smiley since yesterday's incident and we are sorry for what happened," Matthew, Kelly and the Los Angeles Rams said in a statement on Feb. 17. "As we told Kelly, we will be covering all her hospital bills and replacing her cameras. We wish her a speedy recovery."

General Hospital Actress Lindsey Pearlman Dead at 43 After Going Missing

Five days after she went missing, Lindsey Pearlman—an actress who held roles on General Hospital and Chicago Justice—was found dead in Los Angeles on Feb. 18.

The search for Lindsey Pearlman has come to a tragic end.

Five days after she went missing, the Vicious actress was found dead in L.A. on Friday, Feb. 18, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department tells E! News. She was 43.

Details surrounding her passing, including cause of death, have not been released.

Per a missing persons alert previously issued by authorities, Lindsey was last seen on Feb. 13 around noon local time near the Thai Town neighborhood of L.A. Police said in the alert that she "failed to return home," causing concern from her family and friends after no one had heard from her since her last sighting.

Her body was found nearly four miles away from her last sighting, with police saying she was discovered off Hollywood Boulevard.

Her cousin, Savannah Pearlman, tweeted on Feb. 17 that the actress was "last pinged on Sunset blvd."

Savannah confirmed Lindsey's passing on Friday, writing on Twitter, "I'm deeply sad to report that they have found Lindsey, and it was too late."

She added, "Lindsey was a fierce animal advocate and a talented actress."

Her agent wrote in a statement to E! News, "We are deeply saddened by Lindsey Pearlman's passing today. The family has asked for privacy during this difficult time while they process and grieve."

In her career, Lindsey held roles on General Hospital and Chicago Justice. Her acting credits also included stints on Empire, Sneaky Pete, American Housewife, Selena: The Series and The Purge anthology series. Most recently, she appeared on BET+'s The Ms. Pat Show and Urbanflix's Vicious in recurring roles.

On her website, Lindsey was described as an "accomplished commercial actor" who graduated from the Second City Conservatory program and received improv training at Upright Citizens Brigade. While working in Chicago, she appeared in theater productions of The Mousetrap, Trevor and Never the Bridesmaid, which earned her a Joseph Jefferson Award for Outstanding Actress in a Principal Role.

"Lindsey loves 90's R&B," her website noted. "She is an activist for animals and humans. Her bat mitzvah bash is still the standard to which she holds all parties."
